An editorial insight into what I value in visual culture, reflected through a curation of various influences
(ranging across art forms, personal experiences, places I have travelled, my multi-cultural upbringing and
important people in my life). Drawing from these categories, I discovered a multi-layered thread that
weaves these influences together. This thread symbolizes the value I place in meticulously hand-crafted work,
and the strength, resilience and determination I have seen in people close to me which reinforces
everything I value and apply to my creative making process.
